Ideas for Elf on the Shelf

If you haven’t already come across The Elf on the Shelf then you are in for a treat!  It is a tradition that has come from the USA and is based on a children’s book of the same name.  The book has an accompanying elf puppet for parents to recreate the story in their own homes.  Every day in December, once the kids are in bed, parents place the elf in different locations in the house so he pops up somewhere new, doing something different, when they wake up in the morning.

This sounds like great fun but when you think that you have to come up with 25 different ideas the spirits may start to flag!  So, to help you through this festive time I have come up with a list of possible ideas:
