PHOTOGRAPHS IN A SHOEBOX PODCAST PAST EPISODES

The Podcast Archive

While I’m no longer recording new episodes, the archive remains available for anyone who wants encouragement to treasure their family photographs.

This podcast was created to remind you that the photos you’re taking today – even the everyday phone snapshots – will matter deeply to the next generation.

Because I’ve lived this from every angle:

As a daughter, discovering old family photographs with no idea who most of the people are (I can only guess now, and that breaks my heart a little).

As a mother, watching my teen daughter pour over her baby photos, asking questions, making connections, building her sense of who she is.

As a family photographer for nearly 20 years at my studio in Harlow, Essex, hearing countless stories about the photographs that shaped people’s childhoods – or the ones they wish existed.

What you’ll find in these episodes:

Conversations about why photographs matter, how to preserve what you have, and stories from guests about the images they treasure most.

It’s about happy memories, your legacy, and building your children’s sense of belonging (studies even show that having family photos around the house boosts children’s self-esteem).

The podcast is no longer active, but the episodes below are still here if you’d like to listen.
